Icelandic games
Games that work on a plane
Every game here opens in the browser, needs no install and no account. Add one to your home screen and it plays against the bots with no connection at all — airplane mode included.
The games
Three available now, more on the way.
-
Ólsen ólsen
Classic Ólsen ólsen plus the up-and-down variant. Shed every card in your hand — first one out wins. Eights change the suit, and in up-and-down you can lay a whole chain in a single turn. -
Seve7s
The card game where the two black sevens beat the aces. Seven rounds, seven cards, about seven minutes. The card you're left holding at the end of a round is the one that counts — and fewest points wins. -
Lókallinn
An Icelandic board game for the phone. Claim land on a map drawn from the real coastline, trade goods and build your estate. Play the bots or your friends.

Three steps to your home screen
Whichever game you pick — it takes about fifteen seconds.
- 1
Open the game
Tap a game below. It opens straight in the browser, nothing to download.
- 2
Add to home screen
In Safari: tap Share at the bottom, then Add to Home Screen. In Chrome: the ⋮ menu, then Install.
- 3
Play anywhere
Open the icon on your home screen. The game now lives on your device and works with no network — on the bus, on a plane, at the summer house.
What works without a connection?
Works offline
Playing the bots · every rule and every variant · a full game start to finish
Needs a connection
Playing other people · the leaderboard · signing in
The reason is simple: the rules and the bot opponents live on your device, not on a server. Once you've opened a game, it needs nothing from the network to deal the next hand.
